Earn and Learn is a Maths program taught in all year levels of the school during Term 3 of each year.  It involves the use of co-operative group work and caters for individual differences in children. It is a highly motivational, rewarding and enjoyable program.

Earn and Learn is based around establishing a mini-community within each classroom. In this community, children earn a wage, pay taxes and bills and generally engage in all budgeting, buying and banking exercises that they will be using in their financial futures.

It also involves other aspects of the Maths curriculum. The use of percentages, money transactions, halving and doubling, rounding off money, decimals to hundredths, the use of all four  processes and developing calculator skills are all concepts uses throughout this program.

Earn and Learn is also extremely flexible in that the program has been adapted to meet the learning levels of the children. It is also sequentially developed from each year level so new aspects are introduced each year.
