2019 Zone Map
Cambridge Primary School is a Designated Neighbourhood Area (DNA) school. Enrolment is open to families whose permanent residential address falls inside the DNA boundary as shown on the map below. Families who reside outside the DNA boundary are not eligible to enrol at Cambridge Primary School. Unfortunately, the school cannot consider special requests for families living outside the zone.
Parents living within the DNA boundary who wish to enrol their child at the school will need to provide proof-of-residence documents to the office for verification by staff prior to receiving an enrolment pack. These documents should include the name of one or both parents of the child being enrolled and demonstrate that the family is residing at the property (i.e. lists the supply/service address of the property).

Enrolment applications for 2020 will open in May 2019. To be eligible to enrol for prep 2020, children must turn 5 years of age by 30 April 2020.
To allow for planning and preparation for the 2020 academic year, parents are asked to submit enrolment applications by 30 September 2019. This is especially important for parents enrolling their child into prep as it will allow our teachers to liaise with kindergarten teachers or childcare staff. We understand that it may not be possible to submit an enrolment application prior to the end of September and wish to reassure parents that enrolments will remain open after this date. However, children who are enrolled later in the year may miss out on attending some or all of our planned transition sessions depending on how late the application is submitted to the school.
2020 Transition Program
The school will hold a transition program during November and December for prep students commencing at the school in 2020. Enrolling preps will be invited to attend several sessions and we strongly encourage parents to bring their child along to each session. Sessions will run for approximately 90 minutes and during this time children will be able to meet the prep teachers and other prep students enrolling at the school, and spend some time in the classroom engaging in some fun activities. Starting primary school can be a very daunting experience, and children who attend prep transition tend to settle into school more easily.
Grades 1 - 6
Students enrolling into grades 1 - 6 in 2020 will be invited to attend the Statewide Transition Day which is usually held in early December each year.
Enrolments for 2021 and beyond
The school does not have a waiting list for students due to start school in 2021 or beyond. Parents will need to contact the school after April in the year prior to their child commencing at the school to enquire about enrolment for future years.
